    Alternation of "generations" - Alumni has a "new" name and new official representatives!

    as one outcome of the previous annual meeting we decided to expand the name for our group: EGEA Alumni is now called: EGEA Dinosaurs & Alumni!

    EGEA Reunion in Prague?

    Dear alumni,

    EUROGEO is the European Association of Geographers and they are VERY KEEN on working together with EGEA and EGEA alumni. It are the same people involved from HERODOT, so we know them and they know us.

    Benefits for EGEA could be numerous, for example:
    - Having joint events
    - promotion of EGEA among EUROGEO members, for example universities helping local EGEA entities
    - make links between each others members, for example for work placements.
    - giving EGEA members to publish research papers in a reviewed online magazine

    Die Internationale Alpenschutzkommission CIPRA mit ihrem Projekt cc.alps und die Stiftung Landschaftsschutz Schweiz freuen sich, Sie hiermit zur internationalen Tagung ""Schmelzende Gletscher am Hausberg - was nun?" am 24. und 25. September 2009 in Crans Montana/CH einladen zu können.

    Cancelled...

    Unfortunately the Kayak trip had to be canceled due to a lack of participants. However, I have traveled Scandinavia by car and I must say, there are many great places for Kayaking. Hopefully better luck next year.
